Museum Saturdays.

Svensk fisksoppa with Salmon and Halibut, topped with (my first-ever!) homemade aioli and fresh thyme.

Big Charles Phan fan. Here’s a Lemongrass Chicken recipe we had for dinner tonight- scallions, lemongrass, garlic, red onion, and a serrano pepper doused with sake, oyster sauce, and fish sauce.
(Usually take photos with the DLSR, but here’s an 4s photo. Whachu think?)

Bamboo shoots, ginger, green onion, and rice with soy and sesame oil. Fried egg and crispy garlic on top. Dinner!

It’s International Women’s Day on March 8th, and AKQA has kicked off an awesomely sassy way of celebrating it- #rockthelips. Wearing the ubiquitous red lip on March 8 will show your solidarity with all women of the world- it’s an empowering statement that well, hey, doesn’t look too shabby either.

So don that red and follow the movement- they’re trying to hit 1 million worldwide!

and RSVP for March 8 as well: Rock The Red Event
I’m not one to wear lipstick (I’m a little makeup-averse,) but hey- it’s for a great cause:

This is me and my friend Taiyo rocking the lips at la oficina. :)
Food posts to resume shortly.
